Integrating Webhooks

Introduction

Equeum now supports integration with outgoing webhooks, enabling you to send notifications to another platform that supports webhook functionality. Instead of pinging the Equeum API, you can set up a webhook from Equeum and we will notify you of any changes in trend direction. Webhooks can be used in bots as a selling and buying signal, or as a notification that you can integrate with any messaging community like Slack or Discord.

Adding a Webhook

Log into Equeum app.equeum.com. Click on the gear on the upper right corner and click Settings.
From Settings, go to Trend Webhooks and click Add New Webhook.
A modal opens and asks for webhook details.
  1. 1.
Target: select one of our supported list of coins.
  2. 2.
Webhook URL: add the webhook URL of the platform you want to integrate
  3. 3.
Message: enter a custom message to be delivered by webhook.
  4. 4.
Trigger direction: Ideally, you want to create 2 types of webhook: one for when the forecast is up, and the other when it is down.
When you have completed the setup, you should be able to see the webhooks on the Trend Webhooks section.
In this example, webhooks were hooked up to Slack. Here are the sample results:
